OK, but I joke about everything, and I got no problem with gays. Anti Prop 8, donated, plenty of gay friends and coworkers. My kid's school headmaster is gay. Most of the ones I know use far worse terminology and are hilarious and ok with jokes.

So, if somebody posted "that is so ****er", or "geez, said just like a beaner" , or "stop being such a jew" I shouldn't object?

I'll let it drop, but I grew up with racist jokes that were supposed to be funny (black, polish, mexican, jewish, etc) and I find it amazing that people still don't realize how demeaning certain language is, and they just let it slide.
