Assuming he does not play tonight, it will be 11 days out. There is no reason to assume that a player like Glass Joe, er, I mean, Angel Pagan, will make it back quickly. He should have been placed on the DL 2 days BEFORE he got hurt.

I understand that the forest dictates that Boch's loyalty to his players is the right overall strategy. But damn it, some of the trees are super-hard to deal with...

I guess in four days, it won't matter -- no downside to putting him on the DL

Blackburn just got called up. No announcement on the corresponding move, but it seems like a no-brainer at this point to DL Pagan.

And Blackburn will be our 4th MLB debut on the season already.

Okert
Law
Suarez
Blackburn (assuming he sees action)

Pagan to DL, Peavy to DL, or Suarez sent down.
I doubt it is PV. Apparently he was ready to go if they did not win it in the 13th last night. Although, calling him up now is a bit odd. He is NOT a reliever, and both PV and Cain just had promising starts...

In order of what I expect...

Pagan to DL
Suarez/Law down
Parker down

If Pagan is not going on the dl, why would they send Parker down?

Bats warming up again - as long as there's no RISP.

So JPark down was the corresponding move. JC cruising and it's nice to see them actually hit Greinke.

Dislike the first sentence. Like the second sentence (although the 6th was a little scary. Got to think your diaper was preparing for load).

Well he does have a 5+ era. Maybe the Dogs knew something that Snakes didn't.

I think Grienke is a 1A pitcher, meaning he does better as the co-ace, not as THE MAN. He was a fool to leave LA. The Dogs would have given him everything AZ did, but he'd pitch behind Kershaw. Is that so bad? I mean, did Drysdale resent pitching behing Koufax? Or Perry behing Marichal? Did Stretch fuss about hitting behind Mays?
