Fuck him. If he wasn't pitching like shit, Bochy wouldn't have to pull him.

What do you guys think of Casilla coming off the mound there?
Shows that there is a real lack of confidence in Casilla from Bochy's perspective. Pulled the closer with the 1.93 ERA to go with the faltering lefty specialist with the 5.14 ERA. Gutsy, very risky and extremely out of character.

Well Lamb was the guy who tied up the game in SF on a two-strike pitch. And Javy has been very good lately.

Casilla has blown some saves lately, including last night. Lopez has been solid lately.

T-O-R-T-U-R-E is back !!!!

Nevertheless, how often does Bochy do something like that? Its been done, but not this quickly, IMHO.

Forget what we think, Casilla was PISSED even after the win. Hope Bochy knows how to calm that down. He slapped Bochy's hand away when he asked for the ball....

Yeah that's what I meant to refer to. Santiago was not pleased, and neither was Boch. I understand he was high on adrenaline, but that's the most I've ever seen him act up.

Enough about that. Cueto was fantastic tonight, I just really enjoy watching him pitch. He has Timmeh-esq flare when going out there. The offense, while not spectacular, is showing signs of life. The boys were hitting the ball hard all over the place.

Baggs says after the game Bochy laughed it off, said all is well.

Remember Lamb got a hit off Casilla earlier in the year to blow a save. It was a gutsy move by Bochy but the right one. Thanks god it worked or maybe there really would be a problem with Casilla.

Agree, our FA pitchers are so far working out very well. Gotta get the pen right, and the hitters need to do what they are capable of. The division looks fairly winnable, the Dodgers are nothing special nor are the Dbacks.

Pretty cool that Cueto and Shark get to face Grenkie and Miller. I like what we got.

Amazingly, the thing about the Dodgers that's impressing me the most (besides Kershaw because at this point I just expect it) is their bullpen. Nothing else really stands out to me.

Hmm. Casilla not backing down "It shows the manager doesn't have faith in me"

Oy. You know, if the White Sox can play this well after their clownshow to start the year, led by the big bitcher Sale who is now 7-0, the Giants can handle this

Bullpens are SO important, maybe the 'moneyball' secret to winning right now. Our pen was always really top level...until this year and we are scuffling. KC is scuffling now they have only 2 of their 3 relief gods. Not perfect of course, Yankees have a good pen and that's clearly not enough

The price is probably through the roof, but Betances or Miller would look pretty sexy right now.
