Isn't DeGrom out all year every yearNot sure about the lineup problems but their 2 big time pitchers have been out all year (DeGrom and Scherzer)
No not the firstRamos is looking to stay up, Flores is getting back to his old self.
First 1-2-3 inning for Doval this season?
When he’s not winning Cy Young awardsIsn't DeGrom out all year every year
I guess it has just seemed that way. I thought he ended a record of some sort.No not the first
I would never sign that guy. He seems to be hurt all the time. And not just dings; major injuriesWhen he’s not winning Cy Young awards
So living in SF is fun if you're a Giants fan. On the local CSN Giants station where I just watched the game, the postgame is using our visit to Texas to show tons of 2010 WS highlights. Never gets old!
The thing is just about all of them miss significant time, they almost expect to get TJ surgery at least once, most of them.I would never sign that guy. He seems to be hurt all the time. And not just dings; major injuries
Kuip went silent after that comment. I wonder if talking about the chair on air is off limits. That was vintage Kuip to Kruk My wife would like elbow knee pads and kuip was Your wife would want them with kruk and his chair LOLOLOL I think Kruk, and hope he thought that was funny.
Especially at a cost of Lucky, Matos PLUS a pitcher.Since like half the team has already been on the IL this season, not sure whether trading for him would be a genius move or a disaster.
I think it kind of IS how baseball works. A key defensive play fires up an offense...a horrid AB and the SP loses focus....LOL, that's....not how baseball works (except in pantshitting hindsight)
I remember when only Tommy John had Tommy John surgery. The fragility of todays’s pitchers is stupefying. It makes no senseThe thing is just about all of them miss significant time, they almost expect to get TJ surgery at least once, most of them.
Very rare a guy is a horse every year missing few starts...like Logan Webb who is a legit all star
Sure, and there's a huge difference between filthy sliders and meatballs down the middle.@tzill this is what I mean, big difference between Doval trying to shut down the Yankees and Doval shutting down the Rangers.
Hitting matters not just pitching.
That said those last 2 ABs Doval was filthy, his slider was terrific
Like I also said, no idea how this would work genuinely asking if that's what it would cost...you think less? Luciano is kinda tarnished right? Don't need Matos, Robert is an very good CF also. Is just them enough to outbid other suitors?Especially at a cost of Lucky, Matos PLUS a pitcher.
That is a trade proposal a Whit Sox fan would come up with.
I'm just reminded of Reggie Jackson's quip (but reversing it)...hitters drive Cadillacs too ya knowSure, and there's a huge difference between filthy sliders and meatballs down the middle.
I think they are more likely to trade for Bichette than Robert, but I guess we'll see.Like I also said, no idea how this would work genuinely asking if that's what it would cost...you think less? Would like them to at least make a move like that, use our farm to try to improve now. Every team in the NL except 2 is basically the same record looking at the 2nd and 3rd wild cards. We have as good a shot as any with our FO making moves to help. We need to be buyers.I think they are more likely to trade for Bichette than Robert, but I guess we'll see.
