They sent him to Ariz early and he received some injections (??) in his back this morning.

The chances that he goes to the 60 are about 8,000,000,000 - 1, but it enough to list as one of the possibilities.

Getting the MLB contract out of the draft I think will prove to REALLY hurt him in the long run. WHEN he gets dumped by the G's, he will have a stink on him of a failed prospect. It will be harder for him to make the big club with his second org than it is with his first.

His agent did him dirty in '08.

Giants have 7 batters hitting better than .250 in the lineup. (RISP average is not included). Pretty soft averages, though, as very few of the hits seem to come when they count.

Last season, though, the Giants would often field lineups with 2-3 hitters hitting over .250. So there is that going for us.
