It was an awesome game!!!!

Simmer won't have to be the enforcer on the team anymore.....
Morin and Sanhiem were not afraid to grab hold of assholes.... Morin is an absolute monster, I have no clue wtf a couple of them dudes were thinking when he grabbed them!!!!

Hope he does,as Simmonds needs to cut down on his fighting,and penalties that he draws.

If they could get Morin,and another physical presence(that can also contribute),I see no reason why Simmonds shouldn't be closer to 40 goals,rather than his 30

Raffl easily the best flyer on the ice today IMO. Morin also had a solid game to me. Myers and Sanheim struggled a bit.

Still, pretty decent showing for a mostly prospect lineup against a pretty strong Isles lineup.

They certainly talk Bardreau up a lot. I'm just not seeing it. They can do better than him from what I've seen. Aside from being chippy, I didn't notice him much today. Lehtera played well though, that he had a nice game.

Read-Laughton-Raffl played together today. That could be a great 4th line imo.

Yeah, I wasn't particularly impressed by Bardreau (or Read) in the game. Raffl, Laughton, Lehtera and Veccione all looked good to me. And, so far it looks like Morin and Hagg are pretty clearly in the lead for the 2 d spots so far. Definitely nice to have some real competition for spots!!

Agreed all around. I'm partial to Read from the past, but if you assume Laughton/Raffl are 2/3 of the 4th line, I'd probably be happy as long as the 3rd wasn't Bardreau haha.
