Guys like Weal, Ghost, Konecny, Patrick, Lindblom, Sanheim and so on make us a more dynamic offensive team, which is really a lot of what we're looking for right now.

It's probably also why guys like Read, Weise and Laughton may struggle to even make the squad.

A lot of redemption-type stories being told here. This should be one hell of a competitive training camp.

There is definitely a lot of potential with this group of players, for sure. I am really curious about the training camp battle and how everything shakes out, because a lot of roster positions are not at all set in stone.

All of this competition though should be fueling everyone to be better and we can only gain from that. And when injuries occur, the next man up will not miss a beat. Plug and play.

Lyon should get some serious time in training camp and is now #3.

This sucks for Stolarz. He already needed a huge season to make the Flyers at some point, basically needed to convince them to trade Elliot or Stolarz between now and next fall (when Hart and Sandstrom take over for the Phantoms). Being out half (or more) of the season is going to make it significantly more difficult.
