I agree, His play has been much more physical. I think he was hurt early and is just now getting back up to speed. Hope he continues to grow in that direction.

Yeah he seems a lot better some times it takes time to get back up to speed. G looked like that last year changed man now. Helps to play with better guys too.

I read Detroit offered Mrazek for a 3rd and were turned down.

He would be a wildcard as he has played some good games in the past. I'd take a chance but maybe a 3rd is too high unless they kept him next year. I like Neuvy but he gets hurt too much and I have a feeling that Elliot will be the same.

Mrazek has put up some good numbers for the Wings, even better in 10 playoff games too. Not so much this year or last, however, but maybe Hexy thinks we can do better if this guy would only cost us a 3rd and still be a RFA. The Wings have been a below average team for awhile though.

Not being a rental, I think it's a pretty decent deal for us. This guy was really solid as recently as 2015-16 in 54 regular season games and 3 playoff games.

We were probably just riding Elliott a bit too hard there and ended up paying for it. I mean, he was on pace for 60 starts at the time of his injury. That's far and away more than he's ever played.

The move for a goalie may not be urgent at this exact moment, but when we start hitting multiple back to back scenarios in early March, it may be at that time.

Right now, you just worry about Neuvy getting injured or going cold. He's definitely looked shaky at times in recent games, but it's not a problem if we're still winning, right?

There's never been a better time to get some revenge against the Rangers here in a couple hours. They have lost 10 of 14 and only just finished getting crushed 6-3 at Ottawa yesterday around 4:30 pm. This one is a noon start time of the very next day on their home ice, with our Flyers already waiting for them. Lundqvist is expected to start and he is struggling mightily.

A regulation win for the good guys buries them in the division and playoff race, plus elevates us to a position of fighting for the top seed. This would put is only two back of Pitt with a game in hand and three back of the Caps.

Full speed ahead here. Got to find a way to put one of the final nails in the coffin of one of our biggest rivals.

There will be no mercy shown here, that much I can predict. That said, they seem to always play their very best hockey against us, so we shall see. Anything other than two points will be very disappointing.

Regardless, I've said it before, this guy has played light years better as of late compared to early this season.
