Caps, Canes and Pens all go down last night. This division is officially wide open in my opinion. NJ isn't running away from anyone. No way they can keep scoring at their current pace. 3.8 goals per game and a 27.5% power play is not sustainable for them.

Shitsburgh has already lost 10-1, 7-1 and another 7-1 this season. Pretty outrageous for a team to be 7-5-1 with a goal differential of -14.

they're getting blasted in the 2nd half of back to backs. they've given up 29 goals in 4 games in that situation. Not a good strategy for winning haha

I also love the way we locked down that game last night in the third period against what still is the highest scoring team in the Nhl. We did it with only five defensemen too. Pretty incredible effort there.

The hit looks worse every time I see it. Absolutely should've been a five minute major for boarding and possible suspension too. Ghost is completely defenseless and vulnerable when and where he takes the hit. It's right smack in the numbers and his face plants right up against the glass at a high rate of speed. That's the hit they should be trying to take out of the game, but the refs and the Nhl as a whole blew it.

Significantly worse than Gudas' hit that got a major. Not even arguable. I wish the NHL would hold the refs accountable, come out and say that should have been a major, but we're not suspending him.
