I know it's early too, but it looks like the Caps, Rangers and Islanders all could've taken a step back, which puts us right in the top three of the division after the Devils fall back down to earth.
What's happening is we're building from within the organization, which helps us keep players and stay under the cap. These other teams are having to unload players to stay under the cap and are getting worse because of it. The Capitals are exhibit A of this.
