I tried to find a thread on Ryan Leaf but couldn't so putting this in the BS Thread. Seems appropriate.

Leaf did not want to go to Indianapolis because San Diego had better weather, so he and his agent decided to not go to a meeting with the Indianapolis Colts owner. They told the San Diego owner of their plans so that the Chargers did not think that this was an issue. I think if somebody told me that they were planning this, that would be a red flag for me. But then if you to pass on him because of that and he becomes good? Then what? That red flag would've been worth it.
