NFL considering suspension for Bucs S Goldson

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL is considering suspending Bucs S Dashon Goldson for a helmet-to-helmet hit in Sunday's Week 2 loss to the Saints.

Goldson got flagged for unnecessary roughness when he popped Darren Sproles in the head. Last week, Goldson got fined $30,000 for a personal foul he earned for laying into Jets TE Jeff Cumberland. Those are two of the 15 personal fouls the former 49er has accrued since 2010, most in the league. The NFL could suspend Goldson based on his history.

Josh Freeman - QB - Buccaneers

On NFL Live Wednesday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen suggested benched QB Josh Freeman's trade value is zilch.

"They would probably take anything for him at this point," Mortensen stated. In addition to poor performance, Freeman carries a fully guaranteed $8.43 million base salary that any team would have to take on if they acquired him via trade. That's barring an in-season restructure/extension, which would seem awfully unlikely. This year's NFL trade deadline is

I can't see anybody giving more than a 6th round pick for him at this point.

 Thanks.

I don't know why that didn't come up the first time; must've I had a typo. I hate this keyboard.

Your keyboard hates your fingers. Something about them presses its buttons wrong.
