Jay Cutler - QB - Bears

Jay Cutler has been named the Bears' Week 15 starter.

Josh McCown, who's averaged 352 yards over his past three starts, is heading back to the bench. Coach Marc Trestman made the decision after Cutler got in a full practice on Thursday, experiencing "no residual issue" from Wednesday's session. It's a risky decision to mess with McCown's success, but absolutely the right call if the Bears have any intention of bringing Cutler back for 2014. Cutler has played well this season, but attempted just 48 passes since October 10. With Trestman calling perhaps the best game in the NFL, Cutler will be a QB1 against the Browns, but he's a risky play after such a long layoff.
