good game 9er fans .. good luck the rest of your season
LOL. I started Kap, while my opponent has Big Ben. Surprisingly, Kap is keeping it close with Big Ben.

We definitely moved the ball. We just had some drive killing drops and penalties.
You must be new, and not a vet of the Disney days...Montalban does bring up some interesting points. Even with this loss, I think he would cut Kaep some slack.
Looking back on secondary play. Any thoughts? Was it bad man for man play? I thought there were a number of issues with zone play between corners and safeties. Also there were some bad matchups. Wilhoite in coverage on a WR? How does that happen.
Brown was beating our DBs all game, but Big Ben was putting great touch on his throws, catching him stride every time.It looked like men against boys with their receivers constantly beating our DB's. I'll just trust that our coaching staff will get things corrected before the next game.

Played in a golf tournament today so didn't watch the game. Sounds like it was a good thing I didn't. A little worse than I expected but not surprising.I sure miss Montalban's commentary on this game.
Still though, not a single touchdown till the game was over. I did notice last week that he threw a couple of times to a secondary receiver but still refused to throw in the middle inside the red zone. Any change to that today? He's stepped up in the pocket and made a number of good throws today. At least we have that positive.
Meh.....a little worse than I expected but not surprising. I knew our defense was bad but I didn't think they were this bad. The offense is as inept as advertised but I expected about a 31 to 10 game or so.
It was a perfect storm for the Steelers. You had to know that Pittsburgh had the decided edge in coaching, the decided edge in talent, was playing at home and had 10 days to rest and prepare while the 49ers were on a short week and traveling cross country so I'm not too surpised at the outcome.
