Hell Niners should pull their pathetic excuse of a defense off the field let the Hawks score quick and then let Kittle and Garcrapolo try to win it

Thankfully the replay official was not in bed with Seattle. That wasn't even close to a TD but I was worried they would screw us over.

Holy hell Greenlaw saves the Niners after the rest of the defense slept 29:51 of the second half. they need to go take a team piss on the seachicken logo at midfield

Not bad for a defense that struggles in the 4th quarter.

i thought they'd fake it to Lynch and bootleg Wilson. This is the first time they got in close.

I guess they couldn't risk the clock.

Hot damn. Didn't lose the game with no time left on the clock.

It is a forward pass from beyond the line of scrimmage if the passer’s entire body and the ball are beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is released, whether the passer is airborne or touching the ground. The penalty for a forward pass thrown from beyond the line is enforced from the spot where the ball is released.

Did anyone go back and rewatch the first Seattle TD? It was obviously a missed delay of game penalty (Why is Pass Interference reviewable before this?) but it appeared Russel Wilson was a good yard beyond the line of scrimmage when he released the ball. I know the broadcast came back and showed a still image of his back foot still being on the line but that was the ball still back behind his head. Where was that foot when he released it?

I'm glad they didn't take the safety, then all us betters would've lost.

It made sense NOT to take the safety unless its the last play of the game, but there were 9 seconds left.

The explanation was most of his body needs to be pass the line of scrimmage. A little of his body AND the ball was past, but not most of his body.

I thought a very stupid play was by Ben Garland. So stoopid because it was so unnecessary and even seemed like "selfish" hit? thats what June Jones used to call these penalties, "selfish" penalties.

Couldn't hear the whistle on the replay, but it appears the play was well over when he made that personal foul. After the penalty, the offense had no chance to make a 1st down and kill the clock.

I don't think he purposely did that. He probably did not hear the whistle and may not have been aware the play was over.

Ok IF that was the case, then can't fault him for playing hard.

The replay showed the tackle made - not being made but MADE - in the background. So the whistle must've been very late.

In the big picture Garland played well yesterday. No snap issues, no missed blocks, and he didn't get pushed back on the QB sneak.

Even without sacks, Bosa "shows up on tape".

Now if only Ford can make an impact? I wouldn't play Ford every down, but having TWO good rushers forces the offense to keep people in. It also forces them to throw more 'shorter' passes.
