I could see that happening... The only thing that will hold the Lions back is if they end up tying the Seahawks for that 7th spot since Seattle has the tie breaker over them... but I don't even know if the Seahawks will win another game too be honest...

The Cowboys look really scary too. Micah Parsons gives me nightmares. I suck and I haven't watched any Philly games this season, but I'm going to assume that they're really good because of the record.

I thought that NFL offenses were well ahead, but NFL defenses seem to have caught up a bit with NFL offenses this season. I know that it's already been discussed that defenses are doing better at preventing big plays. Another thing I've noticed is that defenses will have a bunch of guys lined up on the defensive line and it's hard to tell which guys are blitzing and which guys are dropping back. Maybe that's a factor too.

I like the 49rs formula right now, they came close last year to a Super Bowl, and this year is no different, great defense, simple offense that doesn’t need to take huge risks. Watch out for this Niners team, they could make some serious noise in the post season, something positive clicking with them right now, and it’s not Purdy, he’s decent, it’s that defense …

I think it will be a fun game to watch. Eagles offense vs. Niner Defense in the playoffs.

The 9ers defense has a fatal flaw and they don't do well against QBs that can run as their hyper-aggressive approach works against them.

So if they do end up playing the Eagles it'd be interesting to see if they can reign it in a bit and stay disciplined when it comes to not letting Hurts kill them with his legs.

With all due respect to the Vikings historic come-from-behind win, it's really looking like the Lions are now the top team in the Norris, even if the record suggests otherwise. Plus they're set for two 1st round picks in the draft, with one of them possibly being a top 5. I'm already strongly leaning toward them to take the division next year.
