49ers Trade for ILB Gerald Hodges

Another stupid move by Baalke. the only good thing is maybe it will get Wilhoite out of there. Wilhoite ranked as one of the worst starting MLB in the league.

Ok it was a trade of Center Easton for ILB Hodges.

Ok we will now have 2 starting MLB from Penn St. I think He was a Freshmen when Bowman was there.

Ok overall not a bad move. It should be a upgrade at MLB but to trade a center (who we need) for ILB some what makes no sense unless they didn't want Wilhoite starting anymore.

Now go get us help on the Oline.

over at PFT, seems almost all of the posts coming from Viking fans hate the trade. If Easton does end up playing well, I will be ticked.

Overall its not bad. He is young and has speed. He is an upgrade over Wilhoite so that is good. The article said he struggled a little at MLB buy out of 52 MLB's this year he was rated #14. So overall not bad. Best part he is under team control for 2 years and is only 24 years old.

I think he will help but wish we would of gave that center a chance before trading him. Oline is STILL a BIG problem.
