Might as well bump this thread than create a new one. We were offered two free tickets and parking passes for the game. I seriously thought about it but don't feel like driving two hours and possibly sitting in the rain during the game when I can watch it from the comfort of my sofa on my big screen TV

Well the fact that the team is 3-10 probably doesn't help either.

Works for me. I'll give my prediction here. Playing at home makes this a closer game. In my opinion, without the three horrendous gaffes in Seattle that took 14 points from the 49ers and gave 21 to the Sea hawks, the 49ers would have been ahead in the 4th quarter but probably would have blown the game anyway.
My rambling point here is don't be fooled by the score in Seattle. The 49ers will be much more competitive in this one if they limit the turnovers. In the end though Russell Wilson, as he always is against the 49ers, makes the difference.
Seattle wins it in the 4th quarter 27 - 17.

Last week i went with the upset, but don't think this Sunday is "on any given Sunday"? As such this sounds reasonable to me. Unfortunate if we lose yet again, but reasonable.

I would agree. It would also help if the team came out and shows some pride after what happened in Seattle.

I do think the game will be much tighter than in Seattle but I don't see them winning.

Two 49ers receivers were limited a day after practicing

Is this a training staff issue? Are the players just not staying in shape? The continual injuries are absurd. How the hell do these players continue to get hurt in practice or worse yet in pre-game warmups (Brieda)?

Not sure what is going on with Brieda but that ankle is not going to fully heal until he shuts it down for a few weeks. I think Pettis needs to work on his frame during the offseason. I think he would take the punishment a little better.

They need a new training staff too many of these types of injuries is no fluke.

Niner defense held up well. Nice to beat the Seahawks and see Russell Wilson fail in the 4th quarter for once. Still way to many missed tackles, dead ball silly penalties, fumbles and dropped passes. And surprise of surprise once again no turnovers created.

Bottom line is it seems Seattle made one more stupid penalty than the 49ers did.

The hilarious thing about all of this is.....Sea fans are complaining about the refs. It's like they don't see the shit that goes for them each and every home game...especially prime time games.

I knew it would be a lot more competitive down here than it was in Seattle. As I said earlier in the thread, the 49ers would have won that game without the three horrendous turnovers that caused a 28-point swing. Still surprised they won since Seattle finds a way to win in the 4th quarter and the 49ers find a way to lose.

Most fans are that way, Seahawks fans might like to think they are special, 12th man and all that but they aren't.
