Vegas has us as 7.5pt favorites. A 10pt win sound about right.49ers - 31

Niners?27-16
I think it depends on which Garoppolo shows up; the 2019 version or the 2020 versionVegas has us as 7.5pt favorites. A 10pt win sound about right.
Of course.Niners?
No question we need the 2019 version, minimum.I think it depends on which Garoppolo shows up; the 2019 version or the 2020 version
Or the world beater that came in after we were 1 and 10 in 2017 and single handedly led them to 5 straight victories. No question we need the 2019 version, minimum.
JG doesn't need to be a 'gunslinger', just hit your receivers and let them run. Most of his passes are short so he should have a high accurady percentage, ala 2019. His timing should also be a little better, hit them at the right time and more RACs will result.
That works too, just win works too.Or the world beater that came in after we were 1 and 10 in 2017 and single handedly led them to 5 straight victories.
I seem to remember how all of the sudden the team could make plays down the field with Garoppolo consistently connecting on 18 -25 yarders. Seemed like he was able to throw to spots where he knew the receiver would be or also throw guys open. That works too, just win works too.
For me, i think those last 5 games were more indicative of his leadership, cause don't recall him playing especially well? Those wins showed how the team came together (chemistry) behind him. That chemistry and leadership is still strong today, and is why this transistion to Lance has problems.
Oh ok.I seem to remember how all of the sudden the team could make plays down the field with Garoppolo consistently connecting on 18 -25 yarders. Seemed like he was able to throw to spots where he knew the receiver would be or also throw guys open.
They beat, I think, 3 or maybe 4 playoff teams in that 5-game stretch. Jacksonville and the Titans for sure. I believe Houston was a playoff team as well.. Not sure about the Bears or the Rams which were the other teams they beat. I do remember a lot of field goals instead of touchdowns. They kicked 5 against Chicago and 7 against the Titans,Oh ok.
i don't recall this as much, but in order to have won 5 games, they had to be good plays throughout.
Is Kinlaw out Sunday?
Unfortunately, Kinlaw's knee issue looks chronic? This won't be the only stretch where his tendanitix keeps him out. This is one of the factors you judge, when drafting.
They didn't place him on the injured list, for this week.Is Kinlaw out Sunday?
I wish the 49ers would stop taking flyers on injured valuable draft picks. Whoever plays inside, whether its Kinlaw or not, is going to benefit from Bosa and Ford being on the edges. They didn't place him on the injured list, for this week.
If the depth at DT is as good as they say, don't play him. I'd rather Kinlaw come back close to 100%, as opposed to playing hurt.
ie Armstead....one of them SHOULD be Armstead.I wish the 49ers would stop taking flyers on injured valuable draft picks. Whoever plays inside, whether its Kinlaw or not, is going to benefit from Bosa and Ford being on the edges.
Agreed.I just hope Shanahan is trying to fool the Lions with all this Trey Lance talk. He sometimes out-smarts himself trying to get to tricky and it could disrupt the continuity of the offense if he keeps throwing Lance out there willy nilly
