If they keep Kap I expect them to be right back in the mix within a year or two; he fit's that system.

I saw something a little while ago that talked about Kaepernick's jersey no longer being in the clearance bins at the 49ers team stores, so they must think Kelly's going to keep him around.

IMO, Kaep is not the perfect QB for this offense. In no way am I trying to sound like an expert on this stuff, but it was my understanding Chip 's system essentially require's an accurate QB and we all know Kaep is not that. He is everything else though.
It surely will be interesting.
