This is VERY VERY good news for Seahawks fans.

1.) Chip rebuilds the team into a contender and the rivalry renews. I loved it during the Harbaugh years.
2.) The team falls into the dumpster fire once for and at least it would be entertaining.

I'm hoping for option 1.

I agree... I think this is good news for Hawk fans because I don't believe in Chip Kelly personally... I don't think his system is going to lead him to the promise land...

I saw something a little while ago that talked about Kaepernick's jersey no longer being in the clearance bins at the 49ers team stores, so they must think Kelly's going to keep him around.

Before Chipper was fired, I had this feeling he was going to let Bradford walk and go after Kap. Now after his firing, rumor was he was going to get Kap as his QB where ever he landed. Now it makes sense why the Titans haven't interviewed him. I'll be curious to see how his offense works now he has his type of QB to fit his system.

IMO, Kaep is not the perfect QB for this offense. In no way am I trying to sound like an expert on this stuff, but it was my understanding Chip 's system essentially require's an accurate QB and we all know Kaep is not that. He is everything else though.
It surely will be interesting.

I'm not. Baalke is an idiot. He had one fluke draft class that was good, otherwise he's driven that franchise into the ground and ran the only good coach the 49ers have had since Mariucci out of town after one .500 season. Did he really forget what Singletary did with the same team Harbaugh took to NFC championship? lol

With the amount of 3 and outs the team has already dealt with over the past 1.5 seasons, 35+ min a game is par for the course with this team....if Chip is going to lead to quick strikes, I'm all for it. Couldn't be worse then Tomsula, who I wish we still had....as DL coach.

I have more confidence in Blaine Gabbert at QB in Chip's system then I do Kap at this point.
