Cardinals, 49ers, and the Panthers all seem like real possibilities at this point.
Rams play Cardinals, Niners and Bears in the next few weeks. Theyd have to win out but they control their own destiny :yahoo::hope:

He averaged 4 yards a pass. Defense gave him some great starting position for the TDs (@ the 11 and 22), And went 3 & out 5 times.

Then he folded in the clutch.

Did you watch the game?

Kaep has much room for improvement, but when he did make good plays, the receivers didn't catch perfectly thrown balls (e.g., Gore on that second to last drive).

I'll say this, Nikita Koloff could not have thrown that Sickle any better

Yes. He made some nice throws, but going 3 & out on almost half your snaps and getting 70% of your points off of great starting field position is not all that impressive.

Yeah that Gore drop was a game changer but the SF did shit today. If it wasn't for their defense/Moore muffing the punt and Lewis dropping the ball on his way to the INT return, the Saints win by 10-14 points easily.

The 49ers offense did nothing. 196 total yards will get you smoked in the playoffs unless your defense/special teams is making big plays

he said pretty much the same thing after the panthers game. i think what he is really saying is, "i'm just not very good".

I dont know for certain if he said that but he did after the Seahawks, Colts and Panthers games, my bet is he says today too.

49ers fans can't try and act like Kaep played good. Your offense had 196 total yards and Kaep had 127 yards on 17/31 with one INT

He didn't play great, but he was hardly the sole (or even major) reason they lost. Anyway, it's a team game, and you win and lose as a team, and the Niners left some plays unmade out there in all phases of the game.

The 49ers are just like any other team....when you take away their strength, they may still be good, but there are not AS good. The panthers and then the saints took away the run game, and KAEP is just not a gunslinger, so it took away from their offense. They'll be fine but it's no shame in losing by 3 points in the superdome. As for us, I just want to ROYALLY thank Jerry Jones for giving us Rob Ryan. He has GREAT gameplans, and this defense is something special. All this wiithout our tight end stopper(Vaccaro), and without our 2nd best corner in Greer. I love this team

It is now apparent they have a hard time with playoff caliber teams, they have not won one game this year against one.

The book is out that you have to make kaep throw it to have a chance to win. It's on SF/kaep to adjust now

That's the beauty of sports. Nothing is static. Adjust or die.

Ill agree I'm not thrilled with their record vs "playoff caliber" teams, but they beat the 6-4 Cardinals, and the Packers when they were healthy (Rodgers of course, and all of their WR's). GB has since been decimated by injuries, but beating GB in Week 1 is beating a playoff caliber team.
