I'm kind of torn on this one...seems like we're stooping to their level a little bit. If they do the billboard, they might as well go all out and have a calvin and hobbs character pissing on a "12" sign as well!

Banter back and forth between the two teams, excess money going to good use in a charity. I love it. Same thing with Seattle fans flying the 12 over our stadium.

Whatever, but if Seattle actually wins the super bowl, as they're favored to do, it will be a lot less funny. On the other hand, if they fall short it will be spectacular.

I might be angry if I gave a crap about what some guys with too much time & money on their hands did up in Seattle. Thought it might be good for a laugh and or :ss: though.

I think it makes for a great rivalry between the fan bases. Besides, the excess money went for a good cause so I can never complain about that.

Hopefully in a couple of months, Seattle can respond back to SF with a "The LATEST one."

Just a little harmless back and forth between the fanbases. Seattle has done similar this year.

The billboard won't last one day before it is completely defaced though!

I just saw this. This is awesome. The best part they gave the rest of the money to Seattle's children Hospital. Shows that is all fun and games.

Didn't see that. That changes things a little bit. If it goes to a Seattle charity and not a SF charity it makes it more sportsmanlike for the innocent homers who never trash talk, you know? Those people just driving home and having to see this sign, it still helps their community.Not saying it would be unsportsmanlike if it were to an SF charity, just a bit more fair to their community.

Has anyone seen this yet? It is on Yardbarker on Fox. It won't let me post a link to the article for some reason but this was from a six year old kid. . Rivalry and trask talk is good fun but this takes it over the top IMO. I also have to say that they could have come up with a better billboard message than bringing up past championships. The 9ers have done enough recently to brag about over the Hawks.

Also, the Seahawks have a great team and should win the Super Bowl. Currently, all the pressure is on the Seahawks. They MUST win the Super Bowl.
