Spin it any way you like...

You said the same thing about him with the Knicks roster he had, pretty much the same it is now. EXCEPT, now we have an actual coach who holds his players accountable.

but you’ll be you and argue for the sake of arguing...

Fizzdale, not only is he not coaching in the NBA today, at such a young age, he wasn’t even sought after at college level...

cmon man

It is not the same roster. Not even close.

Derrick Rose played more minutes than anybody Wednesday and was not there for Fizdale.

Alex Burks was not there for Fizdale

Nerlens Noel was not there for Fizdale

Quickly and Toppin are both rookie role players and were not there for Fizdale

That is 3 key guys getting 25 plus minutes a game in the playoffs. Noel is a starter, Rose might as well be and Burks is their 6th man. Quickly and Toppin are in the playoff rotation too.

Barrett was struggling through his first few games as a rookie and as has been well documented, nobody in the entire league has improved as much as Julius Randle since the start of last season.

5/9 who played in game 2 weren’t on the team and 2 of the guys who were are a lot better today than they were in 2019.

Stop clowning yourself.

Again, spin spin spin Like a got dang wash machine...

If your roster ain’t made up of studs like the nets, they’re pretty much are all made up the same, some vets, rooks, journeyman.

fizz had this roster he would have had no success... you don’t stress fundamentals with this kind of roster, you fail! Fizz tossed ball on court, and it was iso‘s. With thibs , defense, foul shots, all improved .

Thibs is the difference here, not the players

Thibs has done a great job. Nobody is diminishing that. And no, I don’t think Fizz would have done as well with this group. I don’t think very many coaches would have.

But Thins also has a much better roster than what Fizz had at the start of 2019. Much better.

That isn’t spin, you are flat out wrong.

Yes he has, like you said, he’s no offensive genius, but he has gotten the entire team to buy in to what a team should be, hardworking and totally supportive of one another..

if they win this series, and then, if nets win whole thing , it will make for a very interesting off season in who wants to come here and take on the nets..

and man o man the NBA would be put back on the map...
