I don't know why we are supposed to be super excited about the Knicks being back.

The Lakers were out for a few year....and then they came back to dominance. That was important.
The Lakers are good for basketball. The Lakers are basketball royalty and the franchise.

But the Knicks?? I don't get the hype and attention
I like the Knicks. I rooted for them as a kid a little bit, but I never though they were basketball royalty or anything special as a franchise.

Maybe it is just me. I don't get the whole Knicks thing.

I’m not a Knicks fan, but the Reggie Miller vs Knicks and Jordan vs Knicks days were some of the funnest I’ve ever witnessed in the NBA
