If you want Rua to be able to step in without missing a beat when Hamilton or goes down he needs to be hitting every day.
They would plug Martin back in if DeShields and Choo are playing everyday with Hamilton. With those 4 do not see Rua getting to play everyday. He wasn't even getting to with DeShields and Hamilton out. I think to them he is a so to speak utility OFer so they are not that concerned with it. Plus they have very few RH OF options to take on that role. They seem to have a completely different mindset with Rua than some other so called studs coming up in in the past, present and future.
