Martin is a lost cause. There's nothing to plug in there. Martin's future is undoubtedly as a 4th OF and defensive replacement. In no way does he provide any offensive value in the lineup if one of Hamilton or Choo goes down. If Rua can get going in AAA again, he could provide some value in the lineup. Put Martin in his rightful place, and let him rot on the bench.

I can agree with you on that. What I am saying is that the Rangers are looking at it differently than you or I. If this is Gallo, Profar, Odor or whoever that is what they do. They do not seem to have the same opinion of Rua. Therefore Martin will be playing and if he is 4th OFer then Rua is 5th.
