Noggin missed his off ramp.
Why leave Bum in when he is clearly struggling? You have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Give your relievers a clean inning to start.
Last year, the Giants were close to leading the league with inherited runners. The Dodgers, Astros, Red Sox were close to last in inherited runners. Why? Their managers pulled their starters before they got into trouble.
Dave Roberts isn't 10% the manager that Noggin is. But in this regard, Noggin has proved himself incapable of learning nor adjusting. A shame, a five run lead wasted. Didn't have to be that way.
