Ugh, tough game. When things are going good you capitalize on the opportunities. When they are going bad you whiff. But it's April 24, this is a good team. They will play better.

Giants were 4-12 w/RISP while the Fish were 0-7. This was not a game decided by clutch hitting (the fish had none, yet won).

This is just 1 of 60.

Yes but my point is if they were on a roll someone gets a hit in the 8th and we score some runs instead of scoring 0 with bases loaded no outs

AT least the Rox had a big late comeback vs the Dogs. Good chance to win

Or the Fish just beared down and successfully got out of a jam.

This is all just words. I'm saying when things are going good, you win those games. They didn't get destroyed today. Not trying to make a beef out of it, what happened happened. They lost 5-4. Just my take.

Washington? Mets? White Sox? There's a few teams in that mix.
Mets.

Washington is good, but I will take JC over Strasburg, and Scherzer/Bum and Gio/Sammy are pushes.

Chicago? They have a good 1-2, but Rodon is nowhere near this discussion. Yet.

Your Washington take is certainly defensible, but Stras is on fire so far this year. Rodon....young pitchers come out of somewhere. DeGrom and Matz and Thor weren't in the discussion either....until they were. Let's see how the year plays out. As it stands right now the SOx have the best ERA in the AL by far, and have given up the fewest runs in the AL by far. Part of that is Mat fucking Latos being 4-0 with an ERA around 1.

Thor and Matz were never in "nowhere". They were both highly rated prospects. But regardless, they have arrived now. But I was referring to Degrom, Thor and Harvey in NY. Not Matz.

As for Rodon, he is highly rated, sure. But he has not done anything yet.

Wait for the season to play out? Of course. I didn't say this is the best statistical 1-2-3 for the 2019 season. I said they are #2 right now. If we are not able to make any comments about where the rotation is until the end of the season, why participate on the board?

Fair enough. I guess I'm pretty impressed with the Sox pitching so far.
