Too much talent on this team to go on too many non-injury-based losing streaks.

I am glad Duffy is back (and with a vengeance, it seams), but we need Posey and Pence to show up to REALLY see this offense go.

Blanco reminding us he has improved his hitting every year recently.

I wasn't necessarily advocating taking him out yet. I was arguing that there should have been activity in the pen.

Even though the results show otherwise, I stand behind that opinion at the time.

I wasn't saying you were right or wrong. I was just saying that Peavy thought differently.

I'd be OK with giving Blanco a 2/10, or even a 2/12.

JLO has been in 10 games already. In six games, he has given up a walk or hit to the first batter faced. 2 walks, 2 singles, 2 doubles.

Not sure those get it done. Especially if he wants a chance to start. He may be smart to go somewhere on a 1/8 or something.

He'll be 33 in December. Unless he has an extraordinary season, I don't think anyone will pay him big bux to be a starter. IMHO. He's a perfect #4. We don't have any can't-miss mega-prospects ready to shove him out.

Last yr 1.6 era vs 9.8. That's jaw dropping and disheartening. Can this be just an aberration or will a mystery ailment pop up? He'll be 39 shortly.
