Lineup:

Rowand cf
Sanchez 2b
Huff 1b
Posey c
Sandoval 3b
Burrell lf
Ross rf
Tejada ss
Bumgarner p

RoRo and Panda good to go; Ross jumps Miggy.

This is probably the best lineup we can put out there right now. Bum showed signs last outing of turning the corner -- he'll need to step up on a chilly night in SF.

That's a real nice order. An order with Molina batting fourth and Aurilia batting 6th seems like a distant memory.

Here's an ugly stat: Pat Burrell- 53 ABs, 21 Ks. Love the homeruns but...should Nate be playing over him?

Not in my opinion because he also takes walks. He is the stereotypical 5th or 6th hitter because he either walks, strikes out or homers. However, when Torres returns, I think Rowand might deserve to start over Burrell at this point. I like that defensive outfield a lot better than the one that started the season. RoRo still has a few more games to fuck that up, though.

From a purely offensive perspective, no way.

................wOBA
Burrell----.358
Nate-------.275

NL median wOBA is at .333 right now.

Good to see Pablo is OK. Ross should get a huge ovation tonight eh?

Good to see for sure. I hope Ross gets a warm welcome.

Does anybody else see arm trouble in the future for tommy hansen? I don't like his wind up.....it seems to put a lot of stress on his arm. I hope I'm wrong though as he's a very good young pitcher.

Man, poor MadBum has become battinf practice. He had a pretty slow start last year in fresno though too. in fairness though he is getting squeezed by cousins.

hindsight 20/20, i wish cody had faked like he was gonna catch that and played it off of the wall. Nice effort by cody though.

Cousins' strikezone is ridiculous.

If Cousins keeps giving Hanson foot outside strikes someone is going to get thrown out.

Madbum needs to develop a change-up, btw.

Yup. The kid has to keep learning new pitches and grips. I don't think he's got the type of stuff to last without evolving more as a pitcher.

And there's the Rowand we know and love :)

I hate that Bochy bats Rowand at the top of the line up. It is one of the most irritating things to me.

Like Jon Miller, I'm surprised cousins called that a strike - it was right down the middle , after all.
