His stats should still be considered regardless of position, no?

In this draft can you take a player like Doleman that had the 99% of sacks @ DE (which he played 13 years) & apply those sacks to his 2 years playing LB? I'm not sure how that would work.

For the record I did not give 500 a thumbs up for taking Warfield. My son hit my phone and it gave the thumbs up. However I love Warfield but hated someone else getting a top 10 WR of all time.

I agree.

Nos, can we get a ruling on this?

I would judge his play and his stats at the position he is listed. I can't take a RB who through a pass once count him as a QB but use his stats as a running back. Just my thoughts which are usually wrong. You can play your players anywhere you like but I have noticed through mannnny drafts that position placements if a little off will kill you in the voting.

He played OLB so you can play him there but as far as voting is concerned I will look at him like he's out of position, others are free to view him how they want.

ok, well that's 3 that won't count his total stats, so please DO NOT move Doleman to OLB. Leave him at DE.

Eh, it's an old list he already took 2 of the 3 guys on the list then selected someone other than the 3rd player he had listed.

I guess we wait, hopefully he has been PM'd.

Thing is, if you're moving him to olb for the 3-4 defense isn't he really a d-end...? Maybe specifying why you are making the move would help the understanding of the move...:noidea:

That's a good call Bro, IMO. I would look at Doleman as a stud DE and an out of position LB for sure. We were talking the other day about how to vote the older guys against the younger guys, but to me, that's easy, a great player is a great player, period. The biggest thing I would personally penalize a team for when voting is playing guys out of position. Now if you had 2 LT's and played one at RT, I wouldn't say that's bad, because if they were both on the same team, one of them would have to play right side, and most LT's could easily play RT, though not all RT's could play the left side. So part of it is how realistic it would be for that player to still be great at the other spot

Maybe as a pass rush specialist, but good luck covering back and TE's, especially the ones on these teams

I say leave Doleman @ DE, it's where he had the most success during his HOF career.
