For real, with all due respect, you’re a fucking idiot. Did the Dubbs run iso ball with Wiggins and Barnes to close out the 4th quarter of playoff games the way they did with KD. You’re a complete and utter moron with all due respect.
You have to say the “with all due respect” first, then you can unload anything you want like that

How about Kyrie Irving or Kemba Walker?

Kyrie is way too expensive (unless they're going to trade Jaylen Brown for a Kyrie S&T). Free agent wise, they have the 6.4M exception to work with.

Could try one of the senior guys like Rondo or Dragic to see if they have anything left? Rubio would be solid, but too expensive. I doubt they bring back Schroder or Kemba. Been there, ran away from that lol.

Kawhi remains the only man to eliminate curry/dray since 2015

Does your stupidity ever stop?

If Kawhi's the only player to eliminate Curry/Dray since '15 who won it all in '16?

It isn't nonsense though. There is a fairly long, traceable history of teams having to go through a learning process that sometimes includes losing in their first finals appearance...especially when facing a team with championship experience.

I get the whole "we are new to this" aspect but to say they lost because they are "young" is just stupid imo. They are young and SHOULD have had energy and fight and yet showed neither

They are great players, but they need a veteran to run that offense IMO. Smart is a great defender and team player, but he's not the guy to run the offense.

Tatum has infected this team (well seems like he has more) in regards to letting officiating (lack there of in their minds) into their heads.. When they feel like things aren't going their way in that regard they shut down

Who was the complete dumbass that said Curry's the most overrated 2x league MVP of all time? Someone call that fella an idiot.

Steph's resume is complete now. He checks all the boxes for one of the greats of all time. Multiple 1st team selections, League MVP's, A.S. game MVP and now Finals MVP.

Why do the greats of the game make it look so easy?

It's not often I agree with Skippy Brainless. But he's right about Tatum.

And he set a really bad playoff record. 100 total turnovers. The worst for one player in a single playoffs.

Tatum is not the guy to run the offense. He also goes through weird stretches where he just moves the ball, then the next 5 minutes he's forcing the issue; he needs to find a better balance between those 2 modes.

The coach seems to need to be the guy to direct him (likely the reason he suddenly gets more aggressive), and having an extension of the coach on the court in a vet PG would go a long way.

That stat is meaningless because the most TOs in the playoffs is like a who's who of great players.

But many of the TOs were really bad. Like passes straight to the other team.

The answer to that question is clearly Steve Nash lol.

Tatum isn't up there with LeBron in terms of being able to create offense, or Jordan in terms of being able to score at will.

The Cs need to be a real team like those mid 2000s Pistons to win. Maybe one more piece would help both offensively and defensively.

I agree with the exception of the Harden team. The combination of Harden and CP3 in the playoffs is doomed to fail in one way or another. Just one of those guys is enough; both on the same roster is too much to overcome.

Perhaps. But that is based on karma and just rotten bad luck for CP3.

Point being, that Rocket team was significantly better than anybody the Warriors or Celtics beat this year.

It's not just about ''energy and fight'' though. If it was, the younger team would pretty much always win, but they don't. More experienced teams tend to trust themselves, their system, etc. and do a better job of sticking with what has always worked for them, even when it doesn't feel like it's working. Young teams tend to start trying to ''make something happen'' which leads to what we saw last night.

Having said that...this puts them at a bit of a crossroads. Will they be that young team that learns from what happened and gets a title?...or will they be like the KD, Westbrook, Harden and Iggy Thunder team that had their youth exposed in the finals and never made it back?
