Brook Lopez to OKC, Stephenson to Brooklyn, and Lamb/Jarrett Jack to Charlotte.

Nothing is official, but all 3 teams are talking.

if Lopez can stay healthy.....but if he does that could be a difference making trade- could be a big help against Memphis or the spurs in the playoffs

does this mean they would actually run offense in okc? hilarious watching kd have a hot shooting night tonight and a bunch of ball hogs not getting him the basketball. waiters, westbrook, and Jackson all in "me" mode

Reason why they don't scare me to much. If they ever get a good coach I'll start worrying though

With all that being said. Lopez would look good off the bench for the dubs. But I'm not sure if he fits on how we play

Lopez is so overrated. He's like the Kevin Martin of centers. Always injured & can never stay on the court... good scorer but needs a lot of shots to get his. In other-words he's a high volume scorer which won't help because that's not what OKC needs. He is also a terrible rebounder for a 7 footer.

He will help, but it's not going to be that much of an upgrade over Adams overall.

Yeah, I think he's overrated by a lot of casual fans and some junkies, but that's a win trade for OKC. You turn Lamb and Perkins (basically only worth 6 fouls a game) into Lopez. At worst he's a solid back up for Adams. Like Rap said, they gotta do all they can in this next year and a half to win a title (or at the very least prove to KD they are willing to do whatever it takes)

Call me crazy but someone like Brandan Wright would've been a better fit for OKC than Lopez. The last thing they need is another score-first dude.

Lopez is so overrated.
I think he is properly rated when healthy but thats far from a guarantee.

I'm not sure OKC is the best fit for him, though.

I dunno. They really could use some front court scoring, specifically out of the 4 and 5. Once Ibaka sits, they really have no good scoring options between Adams, Perk, and Collison. Scott Brooks, for some odd reason, occasionally sits Westbrook and Durant at the same time and OKC really bogs down. I'd argue they need someone like Lopez more than they needed someone like Waiters

I feel like you defend OKC the same way in the playoffs still. Sag of Westbrook and let him take outside shots.

A good coach could do some really effective things with Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka and Lopez. A bad coach will have these guys pointing fingers at each other

Lopez is definitely overrated but this is a good deal for okc considering the value they give up to get him.

I agree with that last sentence, but now that I see they used Lamb to get Lopez it makes a little more sense. Though, I don't like Waiters much at all.

I think this makes the Hornets a little better too. Lamb is a good player and he played well when given the minutes/shots. Him and Kemba = UCONN backcourt reunited. Lance was a disaster there.
