Canadiens dominated the Bruins early in the regular season. But the Bruins ended the season series on a great note. Definitely not a series that will let you down. One of, if not the best rivalry in hockey. Very eager to get this post-season started!

The ceremony is repeated at game 6 when Max P is rolled onto the ice largely recovered from the Game 3 incident. Despite losing 3 pints of blood on to the ice that evening, Recchi rolled his eyes at Max being brought on the ice and embellished a yawn with his hand to signal his disapproval. Further emboldened by no discipline being brought against him, Chara is seen looking into the rafters (i.e. straight ahead) and loudly saying "that's a 'go' on the kill shot" into a walkie talkie he has with him. Within seconds, Max P is shot and killed. Chara is issued a small fine.

I've seen several predictions for this series to go to 7 games. So it looks like I'm in the minority in thinking this series doesn't go that far. If the b's come out firing away and playing at their best Carey Price will start to come unglued from that point on it's no contest. Historically, the Bruins have tried to be physical with Montreal and wear them down, however that always seems to get Boston in trouble with the Habs getting powerplay opportunities. I'm not saying that they need to be passive, but I think they need to employ a strong forecheck and get the Habs defense on their heels. The B's have the speed and skill to frustrate Montreal without going crazy on the physical side of things.

I agree to a certain extent, but the key really is to be physical without putting them on the PP. The B's size in this series is a major factor because even though we have added speed and skill with the addition of Peverly and with players like Marchand and Seguin, being able to wear down the Hab's is key to this series if we want to be successful. They are still a faster and more skilled team.
