and for that he was wrong....but you were both wrong about this series. Him with an agenda, you with no faith in your team.

No faith?
Just an honest answer.
Not only that, I said Bucks in 6, but if it went 7, I’d take Heat.

Wiggy basically said Heat were trash and would get destroyed.

Sure he can.

Miami isn’t the Warriors.

Um....if the Heat whup the Bucks, and Giannis then goes to the Heat, it's EXACTLY the same thing that KD did. Did you misunderstand what I meant?

I can guarantee you that Jimmy Butler and Erik Spoelstra would agree with me. Because approaching the rest of this series with the mindset that it is over is how they get beat.
Very little chance of that happening. The Heat are kryptonite to the Bucks.

One thing that's working in Milwuakee's advantage is there's no homecourt or travel. So I think the odds of them coming back are slightly better than they'd be otherwise.

Yeah it's interesting, the whole "no one has ever come back from down 0-3" thing was when things were normal. Does the bubble change the odds? Maybe a little, probably not enough though. If you are down 0-3 it means for whatever reason the other team has your number. Only an injury to Butler or Bam can save the Bucks now.

So the team which you just gave a 97% chance to lose is still the team to beat?
That makes absolutely no sense.

All the Bucks are as of this moment is a 1 seed who is down 3-0 to a team who has looked better than them throughout, and although I'm sure the Heat still respects them, they certainly don't fear them.

It's all just vocabulary. You are both "right".

Here's my conspiracy theory. The league wants to get rid of defense all together. Only a matter of time before someone averages 55.5 ppg in a season.
Very little defense is played now.

DUring the season, Cowherd said the Heat were one of the worst 3-point shooting teams; they finished 2nd in 3-pt shooting for the season.

Cowherd has some interesting takes where you think he's a genius. Then he has other takes and that he doubles down where you realize he's a moron that gets lucky once in a while.

It makes perfect sense.

the team with the best record in the NBA is the team to beat until they are actually beaten. Which is what I have said from the start.

Last I checked, it takes 4 wins (not 3) to win a series.

So until the Heat finish the job and get that 4th win, the Bucks are the team to beat.

In the playoffs, every team you face is the "team to beat". Then the next series that's the "team to beat"

So basically you are ripping him for being wrong about a team for which he has an agenda, when you were also wrong and they are your own team?

and so was I...I had Bucks in 6.
I had the Heat in 7.

Nobody stated or debated that a series is over until a team wins 4 games.

Team up 3-0, is the team to beat every time any team is in that position.

And you are choosing to create a semantical argument by asking me who the team to beat was, when I clearly stated last week it was the Bucks until they lost 4 games.

Just because everyone here is fairly certain the Heat will close out the series, nothing changes from that end until they actually do.

But guess what?

When the Heat so close it out, the Bucks won’t be the team to beat anymore.

Might have, but I thought it was they'd do it quicker than the Heat did (this is year 6 since Lebron left).

I thought they might, but expected better lottery luck (as opposed to near worst luck imaginable).

Expecting better lottery luck isn't much to base an argument on. If the Cavs got #1 in this shitty draft, does that get them closer to passing the Heat? Not really.

significant coaching upgrades? wasn't Bud considered at least a solid coach before this series?

He was. This series is new evidence however.

Not at all.

But it would only be the same if the Heat make the Finals the next 2 years and win a title.

KD didn’t only join the team that beat him, he joined who most thought was already the best team in the NBA creating an unbeatable force.

The Heat with Giannis would be formidable, no doubt. But they wouldn’t be viewed the same way as the KD Warriors were.

I agree totally.

Worst possible matchup for Milwaukee.

At the same time, Butler will approach game 4 the same way he would if they were down 2-1 because that is who he is.

Hmmm, can't remember any takes where I thought Cowherd was a genius. He pretty much works on throw outrageous s hit at the wall: it is almost always a mess and stinks, but once in an extremely rare while you may end up with a Jackson Pollock.

He said Cavs in post 5 years LeBron would be better than Heat post 5 years LeBron.
3 more to go. still think it's very possible. I'd bet he's right as Heat was 39-43 in year 5.

Assuming Heat finishing off Bucks I would not bet on year 6 though.
