I said this before and I'm telling y'all again, if the Cavs win it again this year no NBA superstar will play 82 games ever again. Teams can always say the cavs did it and their players were well rested to win the title. with that said, someone needs to start the Cavs vs Warriors rematch thread now.
They would have to put specific language in the CBA to fine Teams.

That probably still wouldn't stop it.

Carroll, Tucker and Patterson a combined 1/12. If the Cavs are gonna blitz DeRozan- those 3 are gonna have to convert some of the time--- that rate is just not ognna cut it.
Carroll has been shit since he left Atlanta.

Congrats on a good win.

If I'm the Raptors GM, I would tell Lowry, we will give you 7 mil a year for each win in the Cavs Series.

Get out of the round, get your max.
Lowry is hurt

I have a friend who is boys with him and Harden.

Lowry has been playing thru injuries for a while now.

2001 Lakers vs. the 2017 Cavs, Who you got?

Prime Shaq and just entering his prime Kobe vs. Prime Kyrie, prime Love and just barely leaving his prime Lebron?

Damn, that's a tough one.

Gonna go with the 2001 Lakers in a very close 7 game series because Shaq was an absolute monster and his presence in the middle would keep Lebron and Kyrie outside more than they would like. Plus, they could give Lebron a few different looks defensively. The Cavs, on the other hand, have no one who could even get in Shaq's way and live, let alone slow him. So Shaq would ultimately be the difference.

But it would be close enough that 1 bad game or Shaq getting into foul trouble could swing the series the other way.

see- i agree if you mean you dont think LeBron is at the height of his athletic prime- but i think LeBron right now today is the best version of LeBron. Never has been tougher to beat 4 times out of 7 in his career.

Which is why he should have stayed his ass home instead of playing in the All Star game.

Why are the Raptors even in this series. Did anyone honestly think they could beat the Cavs after they struggled to beat the upstart Bucks?

Not a single poster picked the Raps unless in jest.

Good to see you on the NBA threads.

Hope you guys have a great Free Agency.

He's not playing anything like the '01 Lakers and there is no one in the league anywhere close to prime Shaq. There isn't even anyone who could pretend to be prime Shaq. Lebron is also not at the height of his athletic prime. He's still the best player in the game, but he's not as athletic as he was in Miami.

Where he is better is that he is a better facilitator than he was then, has a mid-range jumper now and is better at posting up. In short, like MJ and Kobe at the same age, he's not as athletic anymore, but he is smarter.

The problem he would have would be trying to post up with Shaq in the paint. That would leave him with his mid-range jumper and trying to facilitate. He'd still be able to drive to the basket some, but not like he did in his younger days and he would still be trying to do that against Shaq.

There also aren't any teams in the league who can give him as many different defensive looks as those Lakers other than maybe the Warriors. I don't think even the current Spurs can give him as many different looks as the '01 Lakers.

Would you max him?

Raps in the same position as the Clippers.

Guy doesn't deserve the contract. But, you can't get anyone better to replace him.
Yes, they have no choice
