It was that Footwork that he gained from being a Soccer Player.
I agree.
Those other guys have brute strength on their side.
But, the Dream made them all look silly on several occasions.
As a Navy gal, it was mandatory that I was a fan of The Admirals.
So, after watching Dream put him in the popcorn machine, it caused a fracture in our relationship.
Did you compare Durant to Reggie and Clyde????
Cmon Bird wasn't exactly playing with scrubs. The 86 Celts team might be the best team of all time.
LeBron without all star teammates isn't much. whos he going to defer to? we have seen an older kobe show up LeBron. what will a mid 30s LeBron show us?
Yes.
Durant = Reggie Miller.
Great shooter, deadly even.
Neither guy alone can win his team a Championship.
Reggie did make it to the finals.
But, got cut down by Shaq and Kobe's Lakers just like Durant did to Lebron and Wade's Heat.
To this day, Shaq refers to Hakeem as Mr. Olajuwon because Hakeem took him to school in the finals.
No guy alone can win a championship. And Miller isn't in Durant's league as a player. Durant is more then just a great shooter.
Durant will likely be an alltime great.
But, he isn't one right now.
What has he done to elevate him past Reggie?
Lead the NBA in scoring?
No, but he unquestionably elevated the play of his teammates. As good as Kareem was, he lacked in this department compared to MJ, Bird, and Magic.

Winning MVP obviously.
Reggie was amazing. But, without going all DJ and statting this thing up, I'd say Durant is building a stronger legacy.
you can't cite level of competition of current vs past. these guys havent had a chance to finish their careers yet.
so foolish when people do this.
Centers were better in the past. but i doubt you'll find an era in NBA history with more talented PG's. its a loaded position.
Power Forward is another loaded position, just not in the "prototypical" way people defined power forwards in the past.
calling Reggie Miller and Kevin Durant equals is extremely idiotic
