but wow last Thursday's game was trying... I definitely ended up drinking but it sure took a lot of control to not get plastered with how my team was playing

Why would you fire him? They're 5-2 despite their terrible defense. Also whining makes you an even better coach. Just look at Pete Carol, he's the biggest whiner of all time and because of this the Hawks get more favorable calls than majority of the teams in the NFL.
