Who could we add/drop then?

Starting in round 2, you can add one player from the team you beat, so if you played and beat me, you could add Wilt or MJ or I could take Magic if I beat you, as long as you don't end up with more than one player from the same franchise

The debate is whether the teams playing the first round game should get to add drop.
I think the wildcard winners should get one add/drop from who they beat, as long as it isn't the teams 1st round pick, so if WLK beat you, he could pick anyone but Magic, if TLF beat me, he couldn't take MJ or Wilt(both 1st round guys), etc

Your points are valid in that it was the rule... Also don't like that I'd have to face Shane first to get the add because Shane is solid... I feel that compromise is pretty fair, but only if I win...

First off it was never a rule. Second I will play in the play in game in every league we do if I get a top 2 pick. I have to say I am honestly surprised anyone would think its fair for some teams to add a player before other teams get to even play a game.

I agree. I don't think the bye is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. It's not in like real sports where any team can win on any given day and a lesser team can beat a better team. Here the supposed better team always wins. If you have a great team playing in the first round should not hurt you.

Exactly, so now those two winners from round 1 all of a sudden are much better and it will be next to impossible for them to lose once they add a top player after the play in game.

I had a 4-way tie atop my rankings too. But all mine were separated by 3 points

The only fair way to do a play in game with the winners getting to take a player from the team they beat is if instead of teams 1-4 we do teams 7-10.

Thats the only way I can think of to make it fair. I ain't crazy about going back to 3 team playoffs...
