I don't like taking guys. Why don't we have the loser with the most points in rankings lives to play again.
10 down to 5. 5 plus highest loser ranking equals 6. 6 down to 3. Highest ranking loser makes it 4 teams. 4 down to 2 in championship game.

That would be an easier way but it's not really fair that a one loss team has a chance to win and honestly how often would they. I really don't like that way.

Ritz have you PM'd DJ and TLF?

The only fair way to do a play in game with the winners getting to take a player from the team they beat is if instead of teams 1-4 we do teams 7-10.

That sounds fair unles I lose because somebody stacked their team... Just sayin...:noidea:

I agree, I hate the 3 team championship deal. We can go teams 1-4 play the play in, but can only add a 6th rounder on, that will be at least something for the extra round, or teams 7-10, and they can take any 3rd rounder on. Either way is fair IMO, there should be some reward for playing a play in game. Also, the adds from the quarterfinals on will be really fun IMO

Well i'd like to get the playoff started now I guess we can wait on DJ and TLF to submit their rankings later.

I think we will do the top 4 teams and the winners can replace a player on their team with no higher than a 6th rounder from the other team, the actual number will change depending on the sport and number of players we are drafting.

Starting with the actual playoff with 8 teams winners can add anyone from the other team as long as they dont end up with players from the same team.

UGH! I honestly don't like this add a player for the play in winners. They already got to select from the top players now they get more help before playing the teams that drafted later.

There is no fair way for any team to take a player then play a team with an original lineup.

That's fine, play it with no add on for the Wildcard, but from now on, if we have more than 8 teams, I think we should do a blind draw for the wildcard round. I think the reverse order in the 2nd round more than makes up for a team getting a higher 1st pick. In fact, I'm gonna check that against the trade machine, see if I'm wrong on that, give me a sec...

Do we really need rankings for the play in matchups??

And about the add/drop system, we should really wait until after the 1st round play in games. It only seems fair

The trade machine isnt gonna factor in the fact the person who got the 1st pick got Michael Jordan.

I'll play the play in every time either way. Wouldn't bother me.

It's not like March Madness where you fear a 14 seed getting hot from behind the line out of nowhere. If you can't win a first round matchup, you weren't going to win the Mock anyway.

I agree but its also not fair some teams have to win 1 more game than the rest of us...

Agree. I made this point earlier today.

According to the trade calculator we use, if Team A trades pick 1.1 and 2.20 to team B for picks 1.10 and 2.11 it results in a 1.2% improvement....FOR TEAM B LOL...As I said, reverse order more than makes up for a team picking at the top

See I wouldn't mind always playing the play in game either for the same reason Smitty pointed out but thats two of us sometime we could have up to 8 people playing play in games.

I think the fairest way is a reduced value in the wildcard game, like 8th, 9th or 10th rounder to the winner. If a team getting a bye loses because someone who played an extra game takes someone they passed on at least 7 times, so be it lol

Thats for a college draft, thats not looking at 1.1 like it's Michael Jordan
