Lets do this!
Can anyonecome up with new lines with the two big injuries up front?
We will be really depending on Frost with Hayes out the first couple of weeks of the season.Meltzer says Frost is centering JvR and Farabee this morning.
Conflicting reports from Meltzer/OConnor regarding Giroux-Couturier and either Atkinson or Konecny.
AV mentioned in his press conference that they'd try to keep things together for the first little bit in camp.
Still don't understand why players like Thompson are even on this roster as a starter, just taking away valuable learning experience from someone else.Charlie doubling down on TK with G and Coots. Combining the groups to look at the likely NHL-ers, he's got the lines as:
Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
JvR-Frost-Farabee
Lindblom-Brassard-Atkinson
Thompson-Laughton-NAK
Provorov-Ellis
Sanheim-Ristolainen
Yandle-Braun

I feel your hatred of NAK is still present lol. He didn't really have any worse of a season then anyone else last year. I'd def give him a go and if he isn't playing well then insert the next up and coming guy. AV needs a method to build chemistry, so far his methodology isn't working IMO.Id prefer to see Lacyznski in that spot. I'd prefer him to NAK too tbh.

Thompson is a guy who will be the 13th man a lot. Rather have a veteran in that spot than someone young.Still don't understand why players like Thompson are even on this roster as a starter, just taking away valuable learning experience from someone else.
Depends, a vet is always usually better but, if the young guy brings just as much as the vet in a limited role, I'd rather do the the younger guy eager for growth.Thompson is a guy who will be the 13th man a lot. Rather have a veteran in that spot than someone young.
Problem is that a young guy needs to play to develop. #13 forward and #7 dman should be a veteran.Depends, a vet is always usually better but, if the young guy brings just as much as the vet in a limited role, I'd rather do the the younger guy eager for growth.
I agree, my only thing is if for example, if Bunnaman is putting up the same numbers, stats as Thompson whilst in the line up, wouldn't Bunnaman be the better choice? Just my opinion I guess,.Problem is that a young guy needs to play to develop. #13 forward and #7 dman should be a veteran.
I saw a picture of Lindblom and he looks cut. Was tied for team lead for goals when he went out, so that can be some needed goal scoring.Lindblom's look, new nastiness, more in 3 observations on Flyers camp
From Oskar Lindblom’s physical shape to Rasmus Ristolainen’s physicality, let’s look at that and more in three observations on Flyers training camp. By Jordan Hallwww.nbcsports.com
We need him to have a good season and looks like Risto may make this team fun to watch again with some heavy hitting that we sorely need.
