Can't argue with it. He's done a lot this offseason, mostly good/great but some that's a little scary.

Ellis trade - awesome.
Ristolainen trade - scary.
Atkinson trade - like it.
Hart extension - definitely could've done better.
Couturier extension - awesome.
Sanheim extension - Would've preferred a longer deal.
Farabee extension - OK, but a little risky.
Thompson signing - Don't really like it, but it's < 1M.
Brassard signing - Like this one more and still < 1M.
Yandle signing - Like this one a lot actually and again < 1M.
Jones signing - Don't like it.

But like everyone has said, at the end of the day, it comes down to Carter Hart.

i agree 99% I think we could've paid less for Sanheim and im glad its not to long of a contract because we have York and could trade Sanheim as a deadline deal if York lights it up at Lehigh Valley\

Well hopefully we have 5 good players to replace 5 so so players, I'd bring up any of these youngsters to replace anyone struggling in the line up. Hope it isn't just a lot of over blown hype though.

Out of the 9 players listed we will only see Frost and Allison unless there are a load of injuries at the same time.

I'd like to see a couple of these guys replace guys like Braun, Thompson etc before the season ends.

Man that would be the ideal situation but they wont scratch Braun because he's righty and i think Thompson should already be scratched in favor of Brassard

Never know, sometimes necessity outweighs the overall need. Hope we don't find ourselves in that situation but...

Ok - now THIS is an awesome article. I would hope the Flyers coaching staff already have and know this about Sanheim and can effectively coach the gaps in his game within the context of what should be happening on the ice - all 5 skaters - and within the desired “system”.
