Agree - and also according to Forbes, the value of the club is up to $1.2bn. The $48MM they lost last year is barely rounding error at the corporate level.

Bottom line, the Flyers as a financial investment to Comcast is doing just fine.

I forgot who it was that posted Gee is on a 102 point pace since being traded but since the Giroux trade JVR is on a 45 goal pace. I guess its a meaningless stat both ways.

I think all other GMs already know his value as a player along with his contract and that value is low.

Fucking absolutely! I would much rather finish 4th in the lottery and deal the Pens a meaningful loss late in the season than finish 3rd in the lottery. They may have to face the top seed in round one because of it.

It's only a drop from 11.5% chance of getting the #1 overall pick to 9.5% chance anyway.

Playing on an organized Nhl team that has talent and depth top to bottom suits him well. Btw, it's a 106 point pace now. Would be 5th or 6th in the Nhl at season's end.

Its not the Pens haven't been a rival of ours in 10 years since we haven't held up our end of a rivalry in that long.

We need all the odds of getting the number 1 pick that we can get even if its 1 or 2 %
