Go Army!
Well this off-season just got a touch more interesting. Fingers crossed that multiple teams come calling.

Ideally.Trade him for a player or future draft picks so we can load up for a QB in 2026

Im hearing a 3rd for DK, ID rather keep him if that's the best they can do.
Maybe wait until the draft is over and see which teams Missed out and are still desperate
Or do like the Chargers did and go run heavy. Other than the rookie McConkey they had very little at the WR position. This draft has plenty of WR3 types but doubt you find a WR that would do what Metcalf does so don't reach on WR to replace Metcalf.Trading DK makes our receiving corps EXTREMELY thin and almost REQUIRES that we use either our 1st or 2nd on a receiver PLUS go for a 3rd receiver in FA.
Trading before June 1st makes the team VERY upside down cap wise with 21 million in dead money and only 10 million in savings.
Id like to see them Drag it out a bit until a team finds their nuts in a vice with little leverage and we can get a future 1st out of them.Trading DK makes our receiving corps EXTREMELY thin and almost REQUIRES that we use either our 1st or 2nd on a receiver PLUS go for a 3rd receiver in FA.

Well I'm fine with whatever but run heavy requires you have a mauling OL which we don't have. Our run blocking was actually worse than our pass blocking last season.Or do like the Chargers did and go run heavy. Other than the rookie McConkey they had very little at the WR position. Yeah , it was graded poorly but I think that had a lot more to do with bad scheme and bad coaching than the players out there, Later in the season, there was some glimpses of better run blocking, especially when Walker wasn't in there dancing around and Charbs was getting the bulk of the carries. And the kid Lamea was a much better run blocker then Bradford. But Grubb never stuck with it and never schemed anything creative in the run game. I also think Huff was in over his head as an Oline coach in the pros. I think Kubiak has a much better scheme and his lineage comes from some of the best with his dad and the Shanahans.Well I'm fine with whatever but run heavy requires you have a mauling OL which we don't have. It's almost like the front office new what they were doing at the time..Taking JSN with a first round pick is looking pretty smart right about now. Just a passing thought with this news breaking.
Maybe we're addressing this with our new offense... Kubiak has always had great blocking receivers in his scheme.. Right now, none of our receivers are great blockers... I think what I saw a few weeks ago was DK over all was ranked #57 in the league in blocking, Tyler was 99th and JSN was 112... I could be off a few numbers off but I think these were in the ball park of their rankings... Overall, that's just not good... Boob was 69...Trading DK makes our receiving corps EXTREMELY thin and almost REQUIRES that we use either our 1st or 2nd on a receiver PLUS go for a 3rd receiver in FA.
