I think both things can be and are true. You stated teams can have as many Zoom meetings as they want so if that's the case seems logical of the 30 visits they are allowed that person or position is of interest. Then when you consider where any prospect is projected to be selected it an IMO provide some insight. But there are no guarantees there are way to many variables come draft day. Example: Is there more value in trading down to secure more picks the following year. Are the middles rounds deep with positions you covet. Have other teams above you selected a player of interest. I just feel if you are allowed only 30 visits when there 31 other teams selecting the visits are of importance.Teams use top-30 visits all the time to throw teams off the scent of who they are actually looking at. So yes it could mean something and maybe show a position they are looking at but many times won't show the players they are looking at. They could also be using it as an extra opportunity to get a player out on the field and see how well they would handle talking with some of the coaches/FO of the team. There is just a wide range of reasons of why they bring in prospects. I just don't think they are all that important of who a team brings in.
Maybe the Pats should hire me, lol
I'd be happy with this.![]()

Yeah I grabbed a K figured can't hurt that late in the draft.I'd be happy with this.
I didn't draft a k hoping to find one that goes undrafted or a washed up soccer player when they play in Mexico.

I feel the same way. They did plenty in FA that's really going to help. We're still a year away I think. So building this year in the draft makes sense. If we can get another pick or two for 2026 that would be icing on the cake.Yeah I grabbed a K figured can't hurt that late in the draft.
This is just the way I would like our draft to go. Address O Line Run Game and TE. After that however it unfolds I would be okay
All the cloak and dagger stuff doesn't matter all that much if a team infront of you snags the guy you were targeting. Everything is about calculated risks. You just hope you make the right choice/s.Like I said I think there can be some importance, but not to the level that many make them out to be. It is like when a player says they met with "Team A" at the Combine and that fanbase goes crazy. Yeah that player probably met with 25 other teams so it doesn't mean a ton. It is worth noting, but I wouldn't take it past just noting it.
As for the top-30 I know for some teams they actually mean decent chance the team will not be drafting that player. I know the Broncos the running joke for a few years was that if the Broncos brought them in then take them off the list for the Broncos to draft. I think they had 3 straight years where not a single player that came in for a top-30 visit was drafted.

GM is tough. Like in NEs case this year. They had a great off-season IMO. Addressed a lot of needs. Now they have a big decision at #4 depending on what happens 1-3. The D is already improved but if Graham or Carter are there at 4 do they take them? See if they can find a trade partner? Or go with who I want in either Jaenty or Warren? Possible franchise defining decisions.
I would do this. Not knowing who NE is targeting with their first pick, I'd have to agree one of the OTs will be there. Warren or Jeanty. I'd be happy with any of themPeople I've talked to around the league it sounds like the Patriots and Panthers are in some serious talks about a trade. Panthers really want Hunter and the Pats think one of their top OT prospects will still be there at pick 8. These type of trades don't usually happen until draft day, but the preliminary talks start now to get an idea of what a team would be demanding in a trade. Of the teams in the top-10 I think Pats stand the highest chance of a trade.

I like Mebmou not sold on Campbell. The two names I've heard the most attached to the Patriots are Will Campbell or Armand Mebmou.
If this came about, I'd be ok with a few tweeks mid round.Good morning all.
Did a little research and SF is desperate to move up to get the edge player they want. If Carter falls to #4 they know that they will have to pay heavily to get him. So does Carolina, so there could be a a windfall for the Patriots.
The Panthers are at #8 and the 49ers are at 11. Draft values don't mean shit if you really want a player.
49ers have 11, 43, 75 in the first three rounds
Panthers have 8, 57, 74 in the first three.
Somebody is going to have to up the ante. A 2026 Carolina pick will most likely be much higher than a 49ers.
Here's where I think the Patriots go IF a trade is made.
Round 1: 4th overall TRADE to the 49ers for #11, #43, #75 and 2026 second round pick.
Round 1: 11th OT Armand Membou Missouri
Round 2: 38th WR Elie Amomanor Stanford
Round 2: 43rd LB Demetrius Knight Jr SC
Round 3: 69th TE Mason Taylor LSU
Round 3: 75th OT Ozzy Trapilo BC
Round 3: 77th C Jared Wilson GEO
Round 4: 106th ED Oluwafemi Oladejo UCLA
Round 5: 144th RB Bhayshul Tuten Vir. Tech
Round 7: 217th S Caleb Ransaw Tulane
Round 7: 220th QB Curtis Rourke IND
Round 7: 238th PK Caden Davis Ole Miss
These are the two names that make sense to me. If the Pats wanted to gain more capital for next year I can see them moving down to the lower teens not past 14 and taking Banks. We cannot hope to build this team in one year draft capital this year and next makes sense to me.The two names I've heard the most attached to the Patriots are Will Campbell or Armand Mebmou.
What are the chances that mid round picks will still be around in 2027?If this came about, I'd be ok with a few tweeks mid round.
Picks - not positions! You want me to start an official seven round mock Patriots draft thread??
Round 1: 4th overall

You never know. Brady was 199.What are the chances that mid round picks will still be around in 2027?
Lowe failed at his assignment and Maye scrambled to save the play...and his own ass.View attachment 393267
This picture alone, tells me we better draft a butt load of offensive linemen!
Nice blocking fellas.
