That's a solid list. If you take the word "fame" in hall of fame literally Garvey and Parker were two of the most famous players of their era. And Cobra was a feared hitter for a long time with a hall of fame nickname.

It's absolutely bizarre to me that Tommy John isn't already in...a ton of wins, a good ERA, and a surgical procedure that half the league gets.

Would like to see Parker and Tiant too but really I don't care until B&C are in

I think John belongs more as a contributor than anything else (similar to Flood and Canseco, and to a lessor extent, Monday).
