I dont know how well he will do in the pros but he was fun to watch in college. He is only 215 pounds but looks like a 225 size guy lol. Little sloppy in his weight and it would do him a lot of good to try and get to like 205-210. He isnt running over people because he is 215 pounds thats just the power in those big legs. Lose some weight get a tiny bit quicker and see if you can do it where the Guys are bigger, stronger and faster. The way he ducks down to knock off College DB's if he does that in the NFL there are guys that will fold him like a lawn chair.

I'm not sold on Skattebo in the NFL. He is stocky and sturdy but not really big for a power back, and he doesn't have the burst or top end speed to be explosive at the next level. He is more shifty than what you would expect, but he gets run down in the open field pretty much every time. Great heart and toughness though. With his notable ability as a receiver, his best bet might be to latch on as a 3rd down back. He could probably be effective in short yardage and catching passes out of the backfield, but I cannot see him as an NFL workhorse.

Take Booker in the 1st, and then Harris in the 2nd... trade DK (replacing him is Harris), and use the 2nd we'll get for him to also take Ewers. Take BPA RB/WR in the 3rd frame (deep in that regard). Ignore ILB.. it's absolutely HORRIBLE this draft.

Done and done. Start the dumpster fire Howell and let him die behind a terrible OL, cut Geno (cap liability), and make a push in 2026. Get rid of K9 asap, even if it means a 5th rounder, and use that 5th rounder to draft a DB to replace Woolen who should be also traded asap.

Riley Leonard seems like a schneider qb prospect, i could see a day 3 pick on him if he is still around at that point.

Milroe ends up declaring for the draft, thats good it might push a good prospect down to us like last year.

Who sees Milroe as a top QB prospect at the NFL level?

If you want Anthony Richardson 2.0.... draft Milroe. Behind our current offensive line he may just allow the sack record if we move on from Geno. Now could Anthony Richardson have worked? Well certainly not with the Colts (lol Cooter wasn't gonna do F all with someone like Richardson) and not with the current coaching in Seattle.

Point being, for someone like Milroe you absolutely need a good QB coach and offensive coordinator, and those tend to get snatched up for HC positions. Even with Lamar Jackson, Greg Roman was brought in to specifically work him and it panned out. They also had a long time established Harbaugh who had already won a SuperBowl.

Milroe is EXTREMELY raw in terms of football IQ... Grubb is gonna do fuck all with that (if we keep him and I'm praying we don't). You need a former QB coach as our OC to work with Milroe if you go that route. The dream would be getting Wes Philips from the Vikings or Joe Brady if you want the Milroe route.

Some team will fall in love with the incredible athleticism, and if they take him in the 1st round, be fired by 2026. Maybe that will be Schneider.. Funny enough from WaltFootball:

Would you be shocked if he is taken in the first 17 picks?

I know you're not asking me, but nope. If Richardson was taken in the top 5 in a better draft class, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Milroe is taken in this one mid teens or earlier. He already has an agent... his agent was probably telling him to declare given 2026s QB draft class projects better lol. And everyone knows Manning will go #1 just because of the name.

2 words...

"NFL Combine"

This always launches these athletic type of QB's up the charts...
Agreed, and some poorly run team like the raiders or giants will shit themselves seeing how he tears it up and will overdraft him.

he will be a late pick, his measurables are not great but he is a football player and i love that about him.
I'd take him in the 5th round cause we do need someone backing up Charbs when Walker gets banged up again.

Im seeing people in various places talking about him going in the 3rd to a team like the niners. Thats too high for even for schneider at this point but if he is there in round five id take him

F no to a third round. Third rounder needs to come in and contribute almost immediately and he'd be third in line on the depth chart so wasted pick. 5th round would be fine.

I have not been impressed with any of the QB's so far in the CFP. Dart looked ok but also in that game looked bad at times in their Bowl game.

I agree with that. None of them have really jumped out to me while watching the games. Nothing to be getting excited about anyways in my opinion.
