Sinner's Quarter:

Sinner vs. Medvedev QF: I don't think Medvedev gets this far. But if he does, I'd still take Sinner in 3.

Alcaraz' Quarter:

Maybe Tiafoe can challenge him. Otherwise Alcaraz to the SF.

Zverev's Quarter:

Zverev vs. Tsitsipas QF: Zverev in 3. Haven't seen Tsitsipas do much on grass before.

Djokovic's Quarter:

Djokovic vs. Auger-Aliassime QF: Auger-Aliassime in 4.

Sinner vs. Alcaraz SF: Alcaraz in 3. This is starting to turn into a one sided matchup.

Zverev vs. Auger-Aliassime SF: Zverev in 4.

Alcaraz vs. Zverev Finals: Seems like it's rare for the French Open and Wimbledon to have the same finalists.

Alcaraz in 4.

If Alcaraz can win again, I think he has a chance some year to win Wimbleodn without dropping a set.

Women's Draw:

Swiatek's Quarter:

Swiatek to the SF.

Rybakina's Quarter:

Pegula to the SF.

Sabalenka's Quarter:

Sabalenka to the SF.

Gauff's Quarter:

Osaka vs. Azarenka 3rd round: Osaka in 2.

Osaka vs. Gauff 4th round: Osaka in 2.

Osaka to the SF.

Swiatek vs. Pegula SF: Taking a gamble, Swiatek in 3.

Sabalenka vs. Osaka SF: Sabalenka in 2.

Swiatek vs. Sabalenka Finals
: Sabalenka in 2.

If this is the matchup and Swiatek wins, that would be very interesting, and continue the one sided series between them.

I'll pick a new Women's champion, since my pick retired before even playing her first round match.

Didn't realize Nadal was skipping this year. Well hopefully he's healthy for singles and doubles in the Olympics.

I do want to see Nadal at Wimbledon one more time, so hopefully next year. The last 3 times he entered, 2018, 2019, 2022, he made the SFs.

I'll take a gamble and pick Osaka to win, with Sabalenka out.

@bksballer89, Tiafoe with his first career win from down 0-2 sets, and he did it at Wimbledon.

Let's hope he finally does something here.

He played well but I knew that 5th was going to be short and sweet for Alcaraz. Foe had to win it in 4

Hopefully for his sake, this give him momentum that he can keep heading into US Hard court the next 2 months

He's got to find a way to get over the finish line in these matches.

The Andy Murray tribute was good. However, one nitpick I had is that they showed some of his tough losses, such as the 2012 Wimbledon, and one of his Australian Open losses.

If they showed those, they should have also showed his French Open loss. His 2016 French Open Finals was an important step to him getting #1 in the world, later that year. And, since he had also won the first set, he made it seem possible that he could win that Finals.

I think the Djoker has a decent chance to get to Final with such a wimpy draw on his half. De Minaur is his first real test. After that it would be familiar territory for him centre court + Semi or Final round wise where he would have the mental advantage over his rivals except Alcaraz.

I gave Medvedev about a 4% chance of beating Sinner. Good to see him win, and not make this so one sided.

Alcaraz should win relatively easy against meddy since his physical and mental reserves are hugely depleted from his very difficult battle with the guy who was touted to win the event and the number 1 player. But Alcaraz serve has been susceptible to being broken.

I guess we won’t find out because of his withdrawal from his QF vs Novak. Novak hasn’t had it this easy in a long long time. It’s as if all the cards are being pulled the right way for him. If Meddy can beat Alcaraz by some miracle I expect him to lose to Djoker easily in the final.

Medvedev playing in 4 5 setters at the Australian Open was impressive.

It shows that he's physically got it.

Perhaps he can use that same stamina in this tourney.

Medvedev can't run laterally as well, so if Alcaraz makes Medvedev do that, Medvedev will have a hard time winning.

But, the surprising thing was how Medvedev was better at the net against Sinner. I wouldn't have expected that.

Medvedev will have to win one of the stats he's not expected to win, if this is going to be an interesting match.

Both Djokovic and Medvedev have been very good in their careers in 5 setters. For a little while longer, I'd still give Djokovic a slight edge in a 5 setter, just based on his smarts. And this tournament.

I wouldn't do that on hard courts at the moment, for him.

They are saying that Djoker needed more exercise to get his knee tougher and the missed match vs de Minotaur would have given him that. It did give him rest which is also good for his knees, but also deprives him of the match practice. No idea how his match against Musetti will go. I know that tennis is a very psychological game and Musetti has very little experience playing at a big stage ( I frankly don’t think he has ever reached a semis at a major before) so the edge must go to Novak.
If Novak wins a major I think this would be a good one to retire on. Maybe give the USO a shot and then call it a career, unless he feels healthy for the AO2025 where his best chance for a major still lies in my opinion.
