How do you all feel about Jayden McDaniel if Williams and Maye are gone?

Sure. I'd give it a shot. He's got good size and experience. His scouting report states that he's a bit reckless and could be injury prone due to his recklessness and skinny frame.

There's a lot of talk about his athleticism but he also apparently has really good pocket awareness.

Fuck it. He's gotta be better than what we have now.

And can't they coach recklessness out of him? " Hey kid this is the NFL, Slide" Don't lower the shoulder, don't worry about the extra yard

and dropping your head forward up here could get it removed from your body.

I like him and would be happy to have him. But my choice above them all is Bo Nix. Size, smarts, arm, decent accuracy, legs and desire. I honestly believe that he has all of the tools in his box to replace TB12. Not the same, but similar.

His scouting report isn't all that stellar. Not that that doesn't mean the guy could be a fantastic QB but it sure seems like scouts aren't that convinced.

"I" don't give a shit what they think or say. He's my choice.

Didn't you post that Zappe and Mac were not big enough to be NFL caliber QB's?

I might be mistaking you for somebody else but I thought it was you who said that.

Not me. I tend to think that the ideal NFL QB is 6'4" or 6'5" because of the size of their OL and usually express that as my choice height. I certainly don't endorse anyone shorter than 6'2".

Ya, I kinda feel the same way. Bo's scouting report has him at 6'2" which is pretty much the same size as Zappe and Mac. Again, I'm not saying Bo can't be a fantastic QB, I'm just saying that I haven't watched him and so based on JUST his scouting report I'm reluctant to have a ton of confidence. It also alludes to the fact that he was in an incredibly simple offensive scheme and there's concern about his ability to adapt to the NFL.

The QB that YR mentioned is listed at 6'4" and has played in two pro style offenses where he's been very successful.

Ok with being bad for a while but this team will finally rebuild in a good way.
Cheers!

Wonder if the new GM will have the final say of what goes at the draft?
You know that there will be at least ten teams trying to get that pick either for MHJ or whoever the remaining QB is.
The offers will be good to incredible. That last thing would be to trade below #9 even if it included a first, second and third this year and a first next. This draft looks pretty diluted after the first fifteen selections.

I'd rather have Nix than McDaniel.....

Ideal QB seems to be 6'3' to 6'4", once taller than that they tend to get awkward.
(think Brock Osweiler)
