Watched this earlier. That is one of the great names of this Olympics. MONDO

Apparently, his domination is Ledecky-like. they showed a graphic that he has 19 of the top 20 highest ever. They were commenting that he could drive them to redesign the apparatus that holds the bar.

Very exciting, DuPlantis from LSU (mother from Sweden) made 20 feet, 6 inches look easy. I remember decades ago when the 17-foot barrier was broken in the 60s. 18 feet in 1970, 19 feet in 1981, then 20 feet in 1991. 22 feet in 2030?

After the first quarter, it's France 23, Canada 10 in men's basketball. Got to get SGA and Brooks back in the game to cut into this lead.

Wemby just picked up his 2nd foul early in the 2nd quarter. Canada meanwhile is 3-for-15 from the floor.
